A LITTLE RIDE TO BOUSE, AZ

Back pain – shoulder pain etc. etc. etc. prevent me for doing any long distance riding.  So when Pat suggested a little ride to Bouse, AZ for some kind of a motorcycle/car Show I was totally for it.  Bouse is less than 40 miles from Q.

There was supposed to be a Antique Car/Motorcycle Show & Shine there that day but it didn’t turn out to be much of anything.  Didn’t matter to use though as we enjoyed the ride, had lunch and then headed back home.

There’s Pat leading the way on her gorgeous Harley Davidson Trike heading up Plomosa Rd. which is a very scenic ride.

The ride up Plomosa Rd. to Bouse is gorgeous.

Sandy has a URAL with the sidecar and she put her Teddy Bear in the sidecar.

Had to be well dressed as we left at 10:00AM and it’s still cool and even cooler when riding.

Sandy’s URAL sure got the most attention !

But at least they did collect some teddy bears for the kiddies for Christmas.

We decided to take a different route home and continued along Highway 72 and then Highway 60, through Brenda, AZ and back to Q.

  1. Nice little trip - short enough, but lots of great scenery and open roads. That's the same route I took when I went with a friend for a banana split in Brenda. It really was a nice drive. Good for you guys - donating Teddy Bears for the kids. It will be a Merrier Christmas to lots of little kids. :)

  3. You might want to look into one of these Sassy. I'm planning to buy one, but haven't yet since I don't ride in winter weather. LOL Happy Holidays!!

  7. Year's ago I used to have a sidecar. It was way more physical to ride than on two wheels.
